My interest in Landscape photography began in 1992 when I first visited Utah and Zion National Park. I started hand painting my black and white photographs as a way to express the colors and the energy I experienced on road trips to the Southwest. I was using a 35mm Nikon and a 35mm Widelux with a rotating lens yielding a 140º field of view. In 2006 I switched to a Canon digital camera with a 17-40 mm wide-angle lens.
